On 10th Aug 2023 our very special
girl Leyla crossed the rainbow bridge.
At lunch time she was playing with Sherlock in
the garden then suddenly ran into the patio and collapsed. I was on my way home
from an appointment so Jafta and Neo immediately took her to the vet. They
called me to tell me so I rushed to meet them at the vet. However, by the time
they got to the vet, Leyla had crossed. It was suspected as being a heart
attack.
It was devastating as she had always been the
picture of good health and was eating well and playing up a storm. The house
feels completely empty without her presence in it.
Leyla came to us as a small puppy. She was a
ray of sunshine in our family and brought so much joy to everyone who met her. She also had the
loudest voice and never stopped talking "or singing" She was just so full of
character.
We would often "every week" take all the dogs
out for coffee and Leyla was the most sociable of everyone. She would pick up
strange men wherever she went. She just loved interacting with everybody and
was extremely popular.
Leyle we are going to miss you
and all your antics so much. There will never be another dog like you. You are
one of a kind. We all love you so much and will never forget you.

always carry all your amazing memories and the fun times we had together in my
heart and mind.
