There are so many wonderful books and publications out there on animals, animal communication and animal health, and  we would like to share some favourites with you:

 

Book Name:  Elephant Whisperer
Author:  Lawrence Anthony
Summary: A wonderful story of a game warden who adopts a herd of rogue elephants into his reserve, and his wonderful journey of teaching them to trust again
 

Book Name:  The Last Rhinos
Author: Lawrence Anthony
Summary: A touching story of his fight to save the rhino in Africa.  Well worth a read

 

Book Name:  The Last Dog on the Hill
Author:  Steve Duno
Summary:  The story of a man's relationship with his dog - heartwarming and beautiful, and a bit of a tear-jerker
 

 Book Name:  Cesar Millan's range of books on dog psychology
Author:  Cesar Millan
Summary:  Fantastic books that give easy-to-understand-and-use tools to help with dog behaviour.  I find them really good to use in my communication and healing work.

Book Name:  Born Wild
Author:  Tony Fitzjohn
Summary:  This book covers his years working with George Adamson in Kenya, and his subsequent work in Tanzania, protecting and rehabilitating lions and other African wildlife.  A fantastic, compelling read
 

Book Name:  "All the way Home" and "Wild Honey"
Author:  Bookey Peek
Summary:  The two books cover the story of a family living in Zimbabwe, and the orphaned animals they rescue, adopt and rehabilitate back into the wild.  "All the way home" introduces the family and a warthog that runs havoc through their lives, and home.  "Wild Honey" carries their story further and sees the introduction of an orphaned honey badger into their lives.  Fantastic books.

Book Name:  Mahlangeni - stories of a game rangers family
Author:  Kobie Kruger
Summary:  This is a book about their years based in a remote corner of the Kruger National Park.  Warm, humourous and charming, a wonderful book to read
